On Tour with Miss Earth Switzerland

This weekend, I was on the road with Miss Earth Switzerland Sarah Laura Peyrel and the organizers of Miss Earth Switzerland in the region of Bussy and Morges. Today I want to share with you the best moments.

La ferme de Laurence Cretegny

First we were allowed to look around at the farm of the dear ones and eat some traditional dishes. In addition to their animals, which can enjoy their lives ob the farm. There is also a farm shop in which own and products from the region are sold. For example you can buy delicious homemade bread made of self-made wheat.

After the fine and regular lunch we undertook a ride through the countryside with the beautiful horses of Laurence and her carriage.

La Cave du Brantard

The carriage ride through the picturesque landscape led us to Pierre, a wine and alcoolproducer, who couldn’t be more sympathetic.

There we could taste the delicate wines of Pierre, from the region of course.

Château Morges

Then we went to Morges to admire the wonderful exhibition of Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn in the castle of Morges. For all fashion fans, the dresses are simply stunning, but have a look yourself.

By the way, the town of Morges is worth a visit anyway.

Morges

La maison de la rivière

We also visited La maison de la riviere in Tolochenaz, where we were given exciting insights. Sarah was even allowed to get into a submarine with which our museum guide was already under water. By the way, to prevent rivers from becoming too hot there is a simple solution, planting trees on the shore.

L’Arboretum

An impressive green oasis can be found in L’Arboretum. A collection of different trees and plants from all over the world make this park very special. We were particularly impressed by the many different types of magnolia too.

I hope I was able to bring you closer to the beautiful area of the french part of Switzerland with this report and I would like to thank all the participants that I could be there <3
