A cosy evening in Zurich with fine food? That’s what you’ll find at the Enja restaurant in the newly renovated and reopened Hotel Seidenhof. The new restaurant has a cosy garden in summer and a stylish yet comfortable ambience in all weathers. I particularly like the open kitchen concept, where the guests can be present during the preparation of the dishes. The food is cooked on an open fire.
The concept of the Enja restaurant is convincing. Local and seasonal ingredients of the best quality are used. The preparation and the skilful combination of flavours ensure unique culinary delights.
When I visited, the menu included seasonal vegetables, pears and grapes, and of course game with spaetzli. The Enja restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian dishes and gluten-free options. So every guest is sure to find his or her favourite dish. After the meal, the cosy bar invites you for a drink.
The 4-star Boutique Hotel Seidenhof – is located at the pulse of Zurich – a few minutes’ walk from the main railway station. Therefore, it is the perfect place for a stay in beautiful Zurich. The traditional house has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 1902. Because right here, in the middle of Zurich, was the centre of the European silk industry, stylistic elements in the furnishings of the rooms are also reminiscent of this.
The 78 stylishly furnished rooms make it easy to enjoy a city break or a longer stay. As already mentioned, the hotel is located in the city centre and thus within a short distance of Bahnhofstrasse, Lake Zurich, various museums and much more.
And the next morning, hotel guests enjoy a fine breakfast buffet with a generous selection of bread rolls, sweet, savoury, fruity and freshly prepared egg dishes. A cup of cappuccino or freshly squeezed orange juice provides the perfect start to the day.
