About Precise Tale Seehof Davos

The traditional Hotel Seehof in Davos has been welcoming guests since 1869. I immediately felt at home in the hotel, which has been restored in the alpine style and in accordance with the preservation order. You are greeted in style with a welcome drink – which you can immediately enjoy by the cosy fireplace in the bar. The bar of the Precise Tale Seehof Davos is also wonderful in the evening or for après ski.  In addition, the hotel’s location right next to the cable car to the Parsenn ski area and in the middle of the village centre is perfect for all those who want to go to the slopes and the like in addition to relaxing.

The Seehof Davos, which belongs to the renowned Precise Hotels & Resorts, has been renovated for the first time since it opened more than 150 years ago. The prestigious hotel in Davos has been open again since 15 November 2021. Special character is created by historic furniture as well as original art and specially curated pieces of Graubünden craftsmanship. A traditional hotel in which you will certainly feel at home immediately.

The rooms

The Precise Tale Seehof Davos offers a total of 113 completely redesigned rooms, suites and flats, most of which are clad in stone pine and flooded with light – so you can find the right accommodation for every occasion and every need. I had the pleasure of staying in a cosily furnished and spacious junior suite.

From the cosy 20 m2 superior and 25 m2 superior rooms to the studio with cooking facilities and the spacious 70 m2 suite for an extra portion of space: each room is characterised by first-class comfort, so the comfortable bed invites you to relax after an action-packed day. Most of the rooms are also clad in Swiss stone pine, Alpine chic at its finest. This is also true of the family flat, which is specially designed to meet the needs of families. On 102 m2 there are two bedrooms, a living and dining area with fireplace and a kitchenette.

Wellness and relaxation

The Bella Vita Spa is the perfect place to wind down in the afternoon or evening. A whirlpool, a Finnish and a bio sauna, a steam bath, foot baths, an ice station and an experience shower provide relaxation. There is also a relaxation room with a fireplace to unwind.

I can also recommend that you treat yourself to a treatment, a relaxing massage, effective facials or a classic body treatment. I enjoyed a wonderful hot stone bamboo massage and was absolutely relaxed afterwards. A massage is also perfect after the ski slopes.

Culinary delights

Breakfast with a view of the romantic Dischma valley and the Seehof pond. The day starts at Precise Tale Seehof Davos with an extensive breakfast from the generous buffet. In addition to numerous salty and sweet dishes, there is a large selection of fresh fruit and co. A delicious latte macchiato and croissants are as much a part of my favourite breakfast as fluffy pancakes.

Whether in the evening or at lunchtime, the three restaurants and a bar at Precise Tale Seehof Davos offer pleasurable experiences. The “Chesa” restaurant reinterprets classic dishes and serves them with surprising components. Executive Chef Marco Braun, who has already worked at the Adlon Kempinski Berlin, and his team focus on variations of regional and seasonal ingredients with a deliberately original taste. In addition to traditional dishes, there are Asian-inspired delicacies – such as the delicious chicken salad with wonton.  Of course, the eye eats along with the creations in the “Chesa” restaurant.

The “Panorama” restaurant serves culinary creations from France, Italy or Graubünden in an elegant ambience. During the winter season, “Alles Käse” is the motto in the Fondue-Stübli. Surrounded by Swiss stone pine wood, fondue fans will be in their element.

I hope my report has given you a taste for the Hotel Precise Tale Seehof Davos in person.
