The Hotel Fritsch am Berg in Lochau is a hidden gem that many travellers don’t know about. But after a stay at this charming hotel, it’s hard not to be enthralled by its charm and beauty. All the more reason why I am delighted to report on my stay today.
The MentalSpa-Resort Fritsch am Berg
The Fritsch am Berg offers breathtaking views of Lake Constance and the surrounding mountains. Each room has a balcony where you can watch the sunset over the lake and enjoy the fresh air. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had the pleasure of staying in the beautiful and stylish Freiraum Suites.
KULINARIK
A highlight of the hotel is the in-house restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious dishes from the regional cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients. The menu changes regularly to ensure that only the best ingredients are used. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and inviting and provides the perfect setting for a dinner for two or with the whole family. Each evening, a separate menu can be chosen from the day’s dishes.
Breakfast is also served in the restaurant, in addition to a generous buffet with a fresh, local selection of dishes, egg dishes are prepared to order. At lunchtime from 13:00 – 16:00 there is also a light snack for hotel guests with a variety of salads, soup and a fine dessert selection.
MentalSpa – Wellness & Wellbeing
The Fritsch am Berg also has a wellness area that includes an indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. Relaxation is pre-programmed here. In addition, treatments can also be booked in the in-house spa. We opted for a bathing ritual for two and a full body massage. I highly recommend both. The holistic approach is particularly interesting: in addition to classic wellness, the hotel also offers counselling and coaching with the Mental & Health Concept / OASE.
Surroundings / Lake Constance
There are numerous activities and sights to explore in the surrounding area, including Hofen Castle, the Pfänderbahn Museum and the Rheindelta nature reserve. Hotel Fritsch am Berg also offers bicycles that guests can rent to explore the surrounding area on their own. In addition, the Hotel Fritsch am Berg is perfect for visitors from Switzerland, so our journey from Lucerne took only 2.5 hours.
Overall, the Hotel Fritsch am Berg is a wonderful place for a relaxing and unforgettable stay at Lake Constance. The combination of breathtaking views, excellent service and modern amenities makes the hotel an ideal base for visiting Lochau and the surrounding area.
