Today I’m taking you on a detailed journey through my unforgettable stay at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. It was not only characterised by the captivating podcast launch “Murder at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz”, but also by the luxurious accommodation and the resort’s impressive wellness world.

As soon as I arrived at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, I was enchanted by the majestic backdrop of the Swiss Alps and the elegant ambience of the resort. It is more than just a hotel – it is a true paradise of luxury and relaxation.

The event: podcast launch and 3-course dinner
The evening began with a warm welcome and a delicious aperitif, followed by the eagerly awaited podcast launch. We visited the “Tatort” and at every other stop in the hotel there was a part of the podcast to listen to. The thriller continued during the exquisite 3-course dinner, while we listened to the spectacular finale of the podcast in our room afterwards.

This unique radio play takes listeners on a thrilling detective story inspired by Agatha Christie. The famous detective Johanna Kempin, brilliantly played by Michèle Burkart, sets out on the trail of a mysterious murder at the idyllic Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.
The Podcastschmiede, in collaboration with the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, has created a masterful production here. The idea by Astrid Hüni, Mark Stalder, Peter Hanselmann and Simon Lechmann and the captivating story by Peter Hanselmann and Manuel Diener make the podcast a real listening experience. Under the direction of Manuel Diener and with a talented team, including Christina Baron for recording management and sound design, a thriller radio play was created that not only impresses with its gripping plot, but also with its high-quality production.

The Grand Hotel Quellenhof, part of the resort, impresses with timeless excellence and a modern lifestyle. The completely renovated suites, designed by Swiss star architect Claudio Carbone, offer not only luxury, but also space and elegance. The natural stone bathrooms, large window fronts and elegant colour tones create an inviting atmosphere that made my stay something special.

The next morning began with a lively breakfast at verve by sven. The selection ranged from cold treats on the market square to freshly prepared dishes from the à la carte menu. The stylish ambience of the restaurant and the option of customising breakfast to your own taste made for a perfect start to the day.
Wellness paradise: Thermal spa and Tamina Therme
After a hearty breakfast, I had the opportunity to explore the magnificent thermal water world further and pamper myself in the wellness area. The various pools, the Kneipp zone and the garden pool with a view of the mountains made for a relaxing morning. The sauna world with its Nordic kelo houses offered ideal conditions for relaxing infusions and rituals.
The thermal water world offers everything from historic baths to modern pools. I was able to enjoy the healing power of the thermal water in the Grand Resort’s thermal spa. The special mineralisation and the pleasant temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius trigger positive reactions in the entire organism. The Tamina Therme not only impresses with its architecture, but also with various indoor and outdoor pools and an impressive sauna world. The Tamina Therme, an architectural masterpiece, is open to both third parties and hotel guests and offers 7,300 square metres of indoor and outdoor pools for an exclusive wellness experience. Here you can recharge your batteries, regenerate and feel good all round.
