The Bürgenstock Resort attracts with a unique view of Lake Lucerne, culinary delights and breathtaking hotel rooms. On the occasion of the reopening of Brasserie Ritzcoffier, I had the opportunity to spend a getaway at the beautiful Bürgenstock Resort and would like to share some insights about my stay with you today.
Brasserie Ritzcoffier
The French restaurant with it’s haute cuisine is one of a total of 7 restaurants and 3 bars & lounges at the Bürgenstock Resort. Brasserie Ritzcoffier reopened its doors on April 15, 2022. I was able to attend the RE launch event and enjoy a sumptuous gourmet brunch.
An exquisite appetizer buffet with all kinds of delicacies such as oysters, roast beef, lobster as well as cheese specialties and much more opened the brunch. Also served were delicious egg dishes such as Egg Benedict, Omlette or scrambled eggs to order. Followed by an exquisite main course. I had opted for the Milk Lamb, an excellent choice.
The grand finale of this unique brunch was a rich dessert buffet with the finest delicacies from the patisserie. I can highly recommend the brunch at the Brasserie Ritzcoffier, the perfect start to the Sunday.
Bürgenstock Resort
The Bürgenstock Resort offers numerous options for overnight stays. The Bürgenstock Hotel, the Palace Hotel, the Waldhotel and the Taverne 1879 are all perched in Obbürgen above Lake Lucerne. I had the privilege of staying at the unique Bürgenstock Hotel with a breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne.
The Bürgenstock Hotel also offers a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne. In total, the hotel offers 102 modern and exceptional rooms and suites with breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne and the Alps. Here are a few views in and out of our room.
Of course, a sweet welcome greeting was not to be missed. The view from the bathtub was also absolutely gorgeous.
Spa Time at Alpine Spa
The spacious spa area at the Bürgenstock Resort leaves nothing to be desired. The Alpine Spa offers steam and salt water baths, saunas and panoramic relaxation rooms for vitality and deceleration. The spacious pool area with indoor pool, Alpine Eco Pool, Hollywood Garden Pool, Infinity Edge Outdoor Pool and Plunge Pools alone is worth a visit.
The Infinity Edge Outdoor Pool offers a unique view of Lake Lucerne. Absolutely gorgeous and relaxing at the same time.
In the wellness area of the Alpine Spa with saunas and co. there is on the one hand a Lady Spa and a Mixed area. An aroma and panorama sauna, a herbal steam bath, a cold water pool, a Jacuzzi and a rest area, provide pure relaxation in the Lady Spa. In the Mixed area there is an Ice Room, a rain shower, a cold and hot water pool, a Jacuzzi, an aroma and panoramic sauna, a herbal steam bath and a rest area, providing relaxation.
Breakfast Views in the Spices Kitchen Terrace restaurant
The next morning is a perfect way to start the new day at the Spices Kitchen Terrace restaurant. Again with a breathtaking view and I could even enjoy the sunrise with my cappuccino. Breakfast also offers a wonderful selection of freshly prepared dishes. I opted for an avocado toast with egg and pancakes. Either way you will surely be as excited as I was.
I was delighted to visit the unique Bürgenstock Resort in Obbürgen and highly recommend it to you. Whether for a brunch, staycation or a spa day.
