My stay at the Monopol St. Moritz boutique hotel

We do all need a break right now. Regarding this, I was all the more pleased to spend last weekend in St. Moritz at the Boutiquehotel Monopol. Situated in the heart of St. Moritz, you can walk around the centre or go on the ski slopes in no time. The hospitality in the hotel is convincing, I felt at home immediately.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated and stylish suites of the Hotel Monopol. The hotel offers a total of 69 individually furnished rooms and suites for every need. Of course, I was thrilled with the interior and the comfort beforehand. There was enough space in the wardrobes for all our winter clothes and equipment. The sitting area and the large table invite you to linger. After a restful night, you can enjoy the rich breakfast in the restaurant or directly in your room via room service. Between you should try the French toast, it’s delicious.

As my arrival was slightly delayed due to snowfall, I was also able to order a delicious Pinsa for dinner on the evening of my arrival. You should definitely not miss dinner at the in-house restaurant MONO. Mediterranean dishes in a cosy ambience. Here is a little insight into my dinner:

One of my personal highlights of this stay was then “The St. Moritz Sky Bar” – go there for a drink or two and enjoy a fascinating view over St. Moritz. Especially in winter, there is also a special fondue offer there, so don’t miss this opportunity.

Relax and escape from the stress of everyday life – this is what the wellness offer of the Hotel Monopol allows you to do. Located on the 5th floor and thus with a unique view, you can relax wonderfully in the Jacuzzi and Co. The wellness facilities include: Bio sauna 55°C, Finnish sauna 85°C, steam bath, plunge pool, experience shower, foot pool, relaxation room and panorama terrace. The fitness room allows you to work out. During my stay, the wellness was one of my absolute highlights, along with the culinary delights. There is also an inhouse-Spa, I was there for a relaxing back massage – can highly recommend it.

If you are looking for relaxation, enjoyment and hospitality, then the Hotel Monopol is the right address for your next time-out in the mountains. I felt completely at ease and enjoyed my stay very much. As already mentioned, I find the location in the centre of St. Moritz particularly practical. I also enjoyed walking to the frozen lake, so the central location is really ideal. You should not miss a visit to the MONO restaurant and the Sky Bar during your stay – I’ll let the pictures above do the talking.
