Time out in Andermatt at the Radisson Blue Reussen

Presstrip

Last weekend, I was able to enjoy a little time out at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen in Andermatt. I would like to share the highlights of my stay with you today. So much for the perfect combination of relaxation and enjoyment in beautiful Andermatt.

Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen

The Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen is furnished with local materials, natural wood floors and stylish furnishings. The warm and inviting ambience invites you to linger. The hotel includes 281 comfortable rooms, suites and residences, the restaurant Spun with modern interpreted dishes from the region and the cosy Bärbar with lounge and fireplace. We felt warmly welcomed.

The Room

We enjoyed our stay in the cosy Superior Room with views of the Piazza and Andermatt. The hotel room has a comfortable bed, a desk, a flat screen TV, and a spacious bathroom. By the way, the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen supports the WWF and thus the protection of polar bears, so they can also be found in the interior.

Wellness area & fitness

The wellness area also invites you to linger. It is equipped with a steam sauna, a Finnish sauna and a sanarium pool as well as a relaxation room. Treatments can be booked directly at the spa reception, what could be more relaxing than a massage after a day on the bike or on the slopes.

The indoor pool has a length of 25 m and a width of 7 m at a temperature of 29.5 degrees, perfect for a morning swim. There is a separate pool area for the younger guests. The fitness area is equipped with new machines as well as a spacious weights area.

Culinary delights

During my stay, I was also able to take advantage of the generous half-board offer. You start your day at the Radisson Blu Hotel Andermatt with an excellent breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. A freshly prepared omelette according to your wishes, delicious pancakes or waffles, a large selection of bread, cold cuts, fruit, cheese and much more provide the perfect refreshment in the morning.

In the evening, guests with half board can choose from a 3-course menu in the Spun restaurant. The dishes offered in the categories starter, main course and dessert are not to be missed during your stay. I was certainly impressed by the cuisine and Marvin was also thrilled, especially with the size of the portions – which are perfect after a sporty day.

After dinner, it is worth ending the evening in the Bär Bar, e.g. by the fireplace with a delicious cocktail. I would like to thank you again for the wonderful stay in Andermatt and we will definitely be back, maybe next time to go on the slopes, as the mountain railway is very close to the hotel.
