Keeping warm in the cold with Columbia

This year we’ve been surprised by the white splendor, even in my city of Lucerne it finally snowed again. In the mountains, of course, all the more so, as winter sports fans, we went to Preda in Graubünden to test our new winter sports equipment from Columbia. Thanks to Columbia, we made the picturesque toboggan run unsafe, while keeping warm.

Columbia Winter-Outfit for him

For the day in the snow, Marvin wears the Columbia Powder 8s ski jacket for men in the color combination Collegiate Navy / Ancient Fossil in size S from the current collection. Perfect for the slopes with comfort cuffs and practical pockets. The snow jacket is insulated with a heat-reflecting lining. The fit can be individually adjusted because it is adjustable at the hem and cuffs. Thanks to Omni-Tech ™, the jacket is waterproof and breathable and has fully sealed main seams. The adjustable, upward-folding snow guard is particularly important in fresh snow. According to Marvin, the jacket is super comfortable to wear and also keeps you reliably warm at -11 degrees, while freedom of movement is guaranteed.

The Columbia Hero Snow ski pants for men in Ancient Fossil go well with the jacket. The pants can be connected to the jacket. It’s waterproof with reliably sealed seams and heat-reflecting lining as well as slightly insulating properties that keep you warm and dry in snow. Here, too, Marvin is absolutely thrilled, nothing stands in the way of a day in the snow.

When tobogganing or winter hiking, warm and suitable shoes are an absolute must-have. The Columbia Hyper-Boreal Omni-Heat Tall Boots for men are absolutely perfect for this, with the boot’s waterproof outer jacket with 200g insulation and heat-reflective lining keeping moisture in and holding in heat. This means that your feet stay reliably warm even over long periods of time in the winter wonderland. The midsole offers a high level of cushioning and the outsole ensures traction.

Columbia Winter-Outfit for her

Of course, I am also an enthusiastic snow bunny and, whether on the ski or toboggan run, the equipment is essential for me on a beautiful day in the snow. So I’m all the happier with my new snow sportswear from Columbia. On our day of the shoot we went tobogganing in front of the photos and of course at – 11 degrees. Still, I didn’t get cold in the shade. I wear the Columbia Kick Turner insulated ski pants for women with a stylish typographic pattern in size XS. The insulation and the reflective lining lock in body heat. I especially like the tight fit that doesn’t restrict. Thanks to the 2-way stretch material and adjustable waistband.

The jacket I have chosen is a winter jacket that I also like to wear in everyday life. Nevertheless, it reliably kept me warm on the slopes. The Columbia Three Forks Black Dot Jacket with its stylish design is perfect for cold days in the mountains. The points attached to the outside catch the heat from the sun, while the heat-reflecting lining reliably keeps you warm in cold weather. What I also really like is that the jacket is light as a feather and water-repellent. The jacket can even be stowed in its own slide-in pocket.

The Columbia Paninaro Omni-Heat Pull-On boots keep my feet warm. The waterproof outer material doesn’t mind puddles and mud. The outsole offers great traction in winter weather. So that I can run around in the snow without slipping. I recommend you to order the shoes half a size or a whole size larger. Last but not least, the stylish Winter Blur ™ bobble beanie from Columbia kept me warm on the sledge and while hiking.

So if you are looking for functional clothes for the slopes that look stylish and really keep you warm even at sub-zero temperatures, then we can warmly recommend the equipment from Columbia.
