beautypress Info Day Zurich: The Beauty Launches for Autumn 2026

Some appointments make me think twice before saying yes. Let me take you through the day and show you which launches stayed with me.

Ben & Anna: exosomes from the raspberry

The most beautiful table of the day belonged to Ben & Anna: a flat wooden bowl filled to the rim with fresh raspberries, two jars resting on top. That was not just decoration, it was the active ingredient itself.

The new Exosome line works with raspberry exosomes and algae DNA. Exosomes are tiny transport vesicles that cells use to exchange signals with one another. In skincare, plant-based versions are used to give the skin exactly those signals: renew yourself, calm down, regenerate.

The line includes:

  • Exosome Under Eye Cream: for the eye area, light in texture, made for tired and irritated under-eyes
  • Exosome Facial Cream: the face care of the line, for cell renewal, less redness and more glow
  • Exosome Serum: the concentrate that goes on before the cream

What I find interesting: Ben & Anna is certified natural cosmetics, vegan and Cosmos Organic. For a long time the trade-off was either natural or effective. This line steps up with the same claim as classic active-ingredient brands, and that is what I discussed longest at the table.

Who it is for: if you want natural cosmetics but have always felt you were giving up performance. And if your skin reacts to retinol or acids with redness.

CURAPROX: oral care you do not have to hide

CURAPROX is a Swiss brand, and the attention to detail shows. Theirs was the most colourful table in the room: toothbrushes in pink, blue, yellow and orange, toothpastes in gradient tubes, sonic brushes in black and white in between.

What was on display:

  • CS 5460 ultra soft: the classic with 5460 fine filaments, in countless colours and editions
  • Hydrosonic sonic toothbrush: the electric version, in black and white, with noticeably softer bristles than usual
  • Be You toothpastes: the colourful tubes with different flavours
  • Kids and baby: children toothbrushes, ultra soft refill heads and the Grow with Love teethers
  • Travel sets: compact cases for the road
  • 24 Days of Smiles family advent calendar: an advent calendar for the whole family bathroom

What stayed with me from the conversation: oral care only works once it becomes a habit. And habits form more easily when a product feels good and looks good. It sounds trivial, but it is the reason our toothbrushes now sit visibly on the basin instead of in a drawer.

I made a note of the family advent calendar. It is one of the few calendar ideas where nothing ends up in the bin on 25 December.

Dr. Hauschka: hydration without the heavy feeling

The most concrete launch of the day came from Dr. Hauschka: the Hydrating Serum Plus. It solves a problem I know well. Moisturising products may plump the skin, but they often sit heavily on it and pill under make-up.

The active complex combines two things: long-lasting hydration and antioxidant protection against free radicals. The second part is the more interesting one, because free radicals are one of the main drivers of premature skin ageing. With regular use, the serum is meant to work against that.

According to the brand, the selected plant extracts hydrate the skin more deeply and more effectively than hyaluronic acid. That is a confident claim, and I will test it properly in daily life before I pass it on.

Rounded out at the stand by the matching routine:

  • Cleansing balm: the step before, cleansing without drying the skin out
  • Rose Day Cream Light: the lighter version of the classic, harmonising and soothing
  • Quince Day Cream: the quince day cream, hydrating and protecting

How to use it: the serum goes on cleansed skin, before your day cream. It is made for every skin type, from combination to sensitive, dry and oily. Right now, with the heating coming back on, hydration is at the top of my list anyway.

Dr. Niedermaier: fermentation inside and out

Dr. Niedermaier had the most technical table, and that is where I asked the most questions. The brand works with cascade fermentation: plant substances are broken down in several stages and concentrated in the Regulatessenz. The natural enzyme building blocks are present as Stammenzyme, dissolved in right-rotating lactic acid.

The approach deliberately goes beyond cosmetics and covers both directions.

From within:

  • Beauty Drink Hyaluron: drinkable ampoules with hyaluronic acid, positioned by the brand as a glow formula
  • Beauty Drink Collagen: the collagen version, for skin, hair and nails

From the outside:

  • Fermented Hydra Rose Mask: the sheet mask with three promises: hydrating, firming and calming
  • Fermented Skincare: the care line meant to support the skin barrier, retain moisture and nourish gently

Fermented skincare has been established in Korea for years and is arriving here now. The thinking behind it makes sense: fermentation breaks large molecules into smaller ones the skin absorbs more easily. At the same time it produces substances that support the skin microbiome.

If your skin reacts to a lot of active products, or you feel over-treated, this is the category to look at.

PAUL MITCHELL: four products for day three

With STYLE EXTEND, Paul Mitchell brought the most practical launch of the day. Four products, one goal: keeping hair fresh between washes.

ProductSizeWhat it does
Multitasking Dry Shampoo300 mlOil-free roots, conditioning and protection in one
Intense Dry Shampoo300 mlFor very oily roots, neutralises odours
Dry Conditioner Spray300 mlMoisture and heat protection without washing
Texturizing Spray100 mlTexture, volume and grip for the second day

The formulas are vegan and colour-safe. That matters if you colour your hair or have highlights, because many dry shampoos make the tone look dull over the weeks.

I deliberately do not wash my hair every day, and day three has always been the critical one for me. That is exactly what this line is made for. At the stand, the combination of Dry Conditioner Spray and Texturizing Spray convinced me most, because it does not just mask the problem, it makes the hair workable again.

Three beauty trends I took away

1. Natural cosmetics no longer need to apologise. The old trade-off between natural and effective is dissolving. Ben & Anna and Dr. Hauschka step up with the same claim as classic active-ingredient brands, and they are willing to be measured by it.

2. Fermentation is becoming its own category. What arrived in nutrition long ago is now establishing itself in skincare. Gentle, barrier-supporting, well tolerated. And increasingly as a drinkable beauty-from-within approach.

3. Wash less, care better. The idea of not constantly rebuilding hair and skin, but extending the good state they are in, ran through every stand. At Paul Mitchell it is the explicit product promise, at Dr. Niedermaier it is the logic behind the entire care line.

My conclusion

What I like about this format: it takes its time. No stage, no time pressure, no glossy staging. Instead five tables, real conversations and people who genuinely know their products.

Which of the five brands interests you most? Tell me in the comments and I will test in that direction.
