Press Trip
Tyrolean cosiness with style can be found at the Kaiserhof in Ellmau. I was allowed to spend some wonderful autumn days there and today I would like to tell you about the highlights of my stay. Some of you may know the village of Ellmau from the series “Der Bergdoktor” (The Mountain Doctor), but I used to watch this series with my grandmother. But now back to my stay.
The Hotel Kaiserhof
The Hotel Kaiserhof in Ellmau recently shines in new splendour as the renovation was completed in August 2020. There is a suitable room for every guest, whether stylish single and double rooms, family rooms, junior suites, feel-good suites or superior suites, each room and suite has its own personality. In any case, I immediately felt at home, the staff and the Lampert family know how to welcome guests. The location of the hotel is the ideal starting point in summer for hiking, golfing and more in the Wilder Kaiser region. In winter the hotel is also close to the ski slopes.
The new Kaisergarten also invites you to linger. There you will find a playground for the little guests, relaxing chairs or an outdoor chess game. In addition, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains from the Kaisergarten.
Our Suite
Our spacious suite was very modern and stylishly furnished. I especially like the colour concept in combination with natural wood. The spacious main room scored with a comfortable bed as the centrepiece and a cosy sitting area. The spacious balcony also invites you to linger and offers a view of nature. During my stay I could even observe a deer on the meadow from afar.
The room offers everything you need for a pleasant stay, a wardrobe with safe, an entrance area with wardrobe and coffee machine. I also liked the newly renovated and also very spacious bathroom.
Wellness “PurPur” & SPA-Tower
One of my personal highlights was the 18 meter long unlimited Mountain Pool, which is located on the top floor of the SPA tower – an adults only area of the hotel. The view of the mountain world of the Wilder Kaiser is really breathtaking.
In the wellness oasis “PurPur” you will find
- Relaxation rooms with a view of the Wilder Kaiser and the surrounding mountain world
- Relaxation room Silenzio
- Himalayan salt cave
- Sauna world with Event Panorama sauna, bio sauna, Finnish sauna with direct access to the outside, luxury infrared cabin for three persons, brine steam bath and much more.
- Relaxation oasis with experience showers and further relaxation rooms with coloured light design
- Private spa area with Laconium, vitality tub for 2 persons and experience shower
- Relax area for adults only on the roof of the relaxation room with a view of the Wilder Kaiser.
In the warmer seasons the natural pond invites you to swim and relax. There is also an indoor swimming pool with family steam bath. The Panorama Sauna also offers a unique view.
Culinary delights
In the Kaiserhof you will also be spoilt from morning to night in culinary terms. Already at breakfast you can choose from a wonderful buffet, which is complemented by fresh dishes and an incomparable menu. Whether a sweet waffle, egg dishes, spaetzle or white sausages, the culinary delights can be chosen according to your mood in the morning.
The traditional afternoon snack called “Nachmittagsjause” starts at 1 pm with hot and cold dishes, cakes and other sweet treats. We enjoyed our snacks in the Sky-Bar with a wonderful view.
The successful conclusion of the day is the 6-course dinner at the Kaiserhof. During my stay, a wonderful gala dinner with exquisite dishes was then held on Friday evening. For all those of you who enjoy the Kaiserhof in Ellmau, I can warmly recommend it.
Das sieht ja nach Entspannung pur aus!
Liebe Grüße!
