Watchguide Summer 2017

Watches are back in trend, not just because they are practical. No. Watches are probably the most beautiful decoration that our wrists can adorn. That is why today I would like to introduce you to the It-watches of the summer 2017.

Making the right choice

A watch should be selected as jewelry. Normally, it should be used and worn for a few years. Therefore, it is advisable to start thinking about choosing the right watch. Should it be a leather bracelet or a metal bracelet? Both have advantages and disadvantages. Leather is, for example, more flexible and can score in wearing comfort. While metal is more resistant. Then there are different shapes, colors and materials to choose. Do you prefer round, oval or angular cushion shapes? Particularly in this area, watches are exposed to current fashion trends and depending on the effect a watch looks more classical or unusual.

Mechanical, automatic or quartz?

You should also be aware of the inner life of the watch when buying, there are on the one hand the mechanical movements and automatic movements, on the other quartz movements. The mechanical clocks drive the watch with a helical spring, which is pulled up by the watch’s crown. Automatic movements, on the other hand, derive their energy from the natural movement with the clock. Quartz clocks need a battery and are probably the most widely used watches.

 Calvin Klein chic

I chose the Calvin Klein Chic from their summer collection, because it can take a look with its minimalistic appearance. The different versions all impress with timeless elegance.

Tissot T Wave II

The Tissot T Wave II convinces with flowing lines and simple elegance. Available in various designs from simple, minimalist to slightly playful.

Lacoste Moon Collection

The Moon watch by Lacoste is minimalist, concise and full-bodied. Available in various designs with metal or leather strap.

The current watches from Fendi are called Crazy Carats, Selleria, Chameleon and My Way. The Crazy Carats can be used to turn the gemstones and adapt to the outfit in color. The Selleria is a watch which is inspired by the straps of the Fendi bags. While the Chameleon score with their exceptional shape and the My Way is distinguished by different fur pieces always as a Fancy accessory.

At Balmain there are numerous new and special watch models for ladies. The Balmain Orithia II, Madrigal Lady Oval II, Laelia Lady II and the Haute Elegance Mini. Balmain exudes her haute-couture feel in these diverse ladies’ watches.

Frederique Constant

The Smartwatch Notify for Ladies by Frederique Constant is a very elegant variant to combine the functions of a smart watch and the elegance of a watch.

Carl F. Bucherer

The Manero Peripheral Ladies Watch is available in black and brown, and includes an automatic transmission. A classic and elegant ladies’ watch whose design appears timeless. The Patravi ScubaTec Ladies watch made of stainless steel with automatic movement and sporty elegance.

Maurice Lacroix

The new Maurice Lacroix for women is called AIKON Ladies and Eliros Date Ladies. The AIKON Ladies are taking on the trend of decorating bracelets. The new one in the line Elirios Date Ladies is a quartz watch and impresses especially by its design in blue.

The new Zenith Elite Lady Moonphase is powered by an automatic transmission and is available in five different versions. An elegant and classic watch with playful detail.

Timeless elegance is also provided by the wonderful Hermès watches. The model Arceau and the two Arceau Petite Lune in brown and violet.

Do you personally like simple, minimalist watches or opulent, eye-catching Armcandy?
