Two weeks ago I was allowed to check in at a very special bijou – the Villa Kennedy. On our trip to the north, we passed Frankfurt on the way back, this was the perfect opportunity for a unique ending to our summer trip. Today I want to tell you more about my stay at Villa Kennedy.

 

The House

 

The Villa Kennedy exudes a very special charm. The hotel consists of the restored Villa Speyer and three newly built wings. In the middle of the complex there is a wonderful courtyard, which invites you to enjoy life. The holiday feeling it spreads could not be better for me. A total of 127 rooms and 36 suites as well as a presidential suite are offered by the Villa Kennedy.

 

 

Our room

 

We were able to spend the night in one of the beautiful and spacious Junior Suites of Villa Kennedy. Our junior suite included a large, comfortable bed. A comfortable seating area with sofa and TV, a desk and a bathroom. The decor is the perfect mix between modern and classic – simply a room in which I immediately felt at home. The room also had a balcony overlooking the courtyard.

 

 

Restaurant Gusto

 

The restaurant Gusto is located in the house itself with a stylish dining room and in the beautiful courtyard. It offers modern Italian cuisine. After our arrival, we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant Gusto. I chose delicious beef carpaccio with rocket and Parmigano. As a main course, I enjoyed a wonderfully roasted saddle of lamb with homemade mashed potatoes. Of course, I could not resist ordering a panna cotta with fresh berries as the crowning glory. The Villa Kennedy and the restaurant Gusto are very child friendly with a children’s menu, especially for families – even for those who live in Frankfurt – highly recommended for a dinner with your beloved ones.

 

 

JFK Bar

 

Another highlight in the Villa Kennedy is the JFK Bar, where over 120 cocktails and fine wines as well as mocktails and Co. are available. At least we did not miss the chance to enjoy a cocktail in the JFK bar before going to bed.

 

 

Breakfast

 

Already in the morning, the next highlight waited for us, a delicious breakfast with freshly prepared egg dishes in the restaurant Gusto. Again, the quality and the offer of the breakfast buffet more than convinced me. Whether delicious shrimp cocktail, salmon, meat specialties to cereals & Co. there was something for everyone. Since I only find the time for a hearty breakfast at the weekend and on vacation, I enjoyed it even more. A freshly prepared omelet and fluffy pancakes were the culinary finale to a perfect start into the day. Of course not without a cup of my beloved Latte Macchiato.

 

 

Villa Spa

 

After breakfast we enjoyed our time together at Villa Spa. Some lengths of swimming in the swimming pool followed by relaxing minutes in the jacuzzi. Sauna lovers will find a steam bath and a sauna for both. Naturally, relaxing in the relaxation room and in the garden of the Villa Spa is also a great way to enjoy the stay at Villa Kennedy.

 

 

I could not have imagined a better end to our summer trip than staying at Villa Kennedy. It was perfect for me. If you are planning a city ​​trip to Frankfurt, I highly recommend Villa Kennedy. The location is also ideal; the Villa Kennedy can be reached in only 5 minutes from Frankfurt Main Station and in just 10 minutes from Frankfurt Airport.
