Ticino offers a mix of Swiss and Italian influences. At\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkhoteldelta.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hotel Parkhotel Delta<\/a>.The Parkhotel Delta has a wonderful and large park with lots of green space. There is a natural pond, an outdoor pool, a mini golf course, a football and volleyball court and for the little ones to discover a large playground. The fitness as well as the wellness area with jacuzzi and sauna are beautifully designed. You can also splash around in the indoor pool. You will also find a nice restaurant and a bar in the hotel. The Parkhotel Delta is a very well equipped 4-star hotel. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The whole area is very well managed and is very stylish. For lunch we drove to Locarno, this is a very short drive of 5-10 minutes away. There we found a great pizzeria right on the lake. The pizza was really excellent and it was huge. After lunch, we walked along the lake, with wonderful spring weather.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8163\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thechicadvocate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Locarno-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thechicadvocate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Locarno-2.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/www.thechicadvocate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Locarno-2-800x533.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The promenade of Locarno is nicely designed, a nice mix of palm trees and trees. Add to that the breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Maggiore. Especially the palms did it to me, I could get used to it. And so is Ascona-Locarno, although we drove only two hours by car, this friendly place exudes holiday flair par excellence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8172\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thechicadvocate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Hotellobby.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thechicadvocate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Hotellobby.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/www.thechicadvocate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Hotellobby-800x533.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday evening we went to the Parkhotel Delta after a short break and a styling fresh up. For dinner at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/edenroc.ch\/de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hotel Eden Roc Ascona<\/a>.\u00a0There we enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal with a chocolate finish.
