Until recently I only knew the ultrasound treatment in the cosmetic studio, with Mira-Skin I have now brought this unique beauty treatment home. Today I would like to tell you about my experience with Mira-Skin. Application of Mira-Skin
Besides the Mira-Skin ultrasound device, I was allowed to test the matching cosmetics. For the beginning I used the Hyaluron-Serum, the Mira-Skin and the contact gel. I would like to show you briefly how the individual care steps work and how easy the application is, as well as how the ultrasound works.
Step 1: Apply serum
Before the treatment it is important to clean the skin thoroughly, this is important to neutralize the pH value of the skin and to remove any residues on the skin. I use a mild washing lotion for this purpose. As the 1st step of the treatment, I then apply the serum to the skin and let it take effect. Mira-Skin hyaluron serum is different penetrates deep into the skin due to its structure (short-chain molecules). It contains collagen, microcrystalline silver, MSM, vitamin E, omega 3, vitamin A and CoQ10. Due to the high concentration of hyaluronic molecules, it can also bind significantly more water molecules (moisture) in the skin and plumps up better than other products. The serum is absorbed within a short time. By the way, it can be integrated not only before the treatment, but also otherwise in the care routine both in the morning and in the evening. Mira-Skin now also offers Collagen Serum with 99.9% collagen. This effective serum is applied to the skin once a day. I particularly like to use it after treatment with the Mira-Skin ultrasound device, as this significantly increases the skin’s ability to absorb collagen.
Step 2: Apply contact gel
To make application to the skin easy, or to allow the Mira-Skin ultrasound device to glide easily over the skin, I apply the contact gel as step 2. This is also included in the Mira-Skin starter package. Now the actual treatment can begin.
The treatment can also be done without contact gel, but since the ultrasound device glides over the skin more easily with contact gel, I prefer to use it with gel.
Step 3: Ultrasound treatment with Mira-Skin
The ultrasound of the Mira-Skin ultrasound device introduces active ingredients deep into the skin, increases blood circulation and detoxification of the skin tissue. Then the ultrasound stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. When used regularly, ultrasound optimizes skin regeneration and improves cell metabolism. In addition, dead skin cells are removed. First, I turn on the device with the push of a button and it is ready to use.
In the Mira-Skin Guide you will find a chart on how to treat the different areas of the face. I start at the forehead and work my way past the eye to the cheekbones. From the nose outward in three lines and from the corners of the mouth to the chin. When treating the neck, the larynx is to be left out.
The whole treatment for the face lasts 5 minutes, for larger areas longer, but the treatment time should not exceed 10 minutes.
It is important to clean the metal head of the Mira-Skin ultrasound device after each treatment. After the ultrasound treatment, the skin is particularly receptive for a good 30 minutes and the active ingredients of my favorite skin products such as masks, creams or serums can unfold their effect in the deep layers of the skin.
How ultrasound works
Now I would like to explain the mode of action of the ultrasound treatment in more detail.
Ultrasound is able to open the intercellular spaces of the skin, so that the active ingredients of your favorite products no longer remain only on the skin, but act in the deep layers of the skin. This is because skin care products only cause the uppermost horny layer of the skin to swell, thus ensuring that the skin feels smooth and plump. However, the active ingredients cannot be absorbed deeply because they are retained by the lipid barrier of the cornea. By the way, the opening of these skin interstices by ultrasound is called phonophoresis in technical jargon. The active ingredients are thus introduced. Ultrasound also stimulates blood circulation, which improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the skin. This in turn stimulates collagen synthesis.
Mira-Skin can also be used for the treatment of pain e.g. in combination with pain ointments and creams, this because on the one hand loosens the muscles and on the other hand also ensures here that pain-relieving active substances are deeply infiltrated.
Conclusion
After a few weeks of use, I can see significant improvements, which I find particularly great, since it is a non-invasive treatment. The fact that cosmetic studios and the like also offer ultrasound treatment speaks for itself here. In my opinion, the purchase of the Mira-Skin ultrasound device is definitely worthwhile. Especially because of the numerous application possibilities. I have now also started to treat my stretch marks and am confident that the skin appearance there will also improve. The device also looks very high quality workmanship, plus you have 24 months warranty. I can also recommend the care products, they consist of pure ingredients and I tolerate them very well. In addition, I also find the packaging extremely successful.
