Culinary highlights are to be discovered in the newly opened restaurant “REIN” in the Radisson Blu Hotel Basel. Some time ago I was able to convince myself of the hospitality and the delicacies. For a city trip to Basel, I can also recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel Basel. I will gladly tell you more about my stay.

In the restaurant “REIN” you can expect modern Swiss cuisine for hotel guests as well as external visitors. The menu offers Swiss specialties with a twist. Typical Swiss dishes have been interpreted in a new and contemporary way. Local products are combined with modern ingredients and production methods from all over the world.  The menu features such typical meat and fish dishes from “Land, River and Lake” as “Alpstein Chicken Breast with Raspberry Marinade”, “Swiss Beef Carpaccio” or “Swiss Prime Rib Eye with Watercress” as well as refined snacks and the delicious desserts.

 

 

On my visit, I opted for this culinary selection: Smoked Salmon Tartare, Swiss Entrecote and Chocolate Slices. All three courses completely convinced me. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Excellent service and a stylish, modern ambience make the dinner evening for two perfect. Definitely worth a visit to the restaurant “REIN” not only for hotel guests.

Fancy a city trip in Switzerland? Then I can recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel Basel. Because this was remodeled until November 2019 and all 206 rooms as well as suites shine since then in a new urban dress. I like the design incredibly well, in the spacious room you feel right at home. The heart of the hotel is also the newly designed lobby.

 

 

By the way, the Radisson Blu Hotel Basel is also the perfect place to stay during Art Basel, for example, and to discover other cultural highlights of the city.
