My wonderful stay at the Charles Hotel Munich

The Charles Hotel in Munich offers 136 rooms and 24 suites. It houses the Sophia’s restaurant and The Library, where light meals, snacks and drinks can be enjoyed in an inspiring atmosphere – or you can read the newspaper there.

 

It also offers a ballroom and modern conference rooms. To emphasize is then the great location, The Charles Hotel is situated within a short walking distance from the main station. Near the old botanical garden of Munich. Despite its central location, it is also very quiet at night.

Our room was very spacious and I feel very comfortable. We even had a small sitting area inside and a balcony. The bathroom with shower and bath invited to linger.

After a restful day of arrival, we enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet at Sophia’s. The selection ranges from regional specialties to shrimp cocktail, delicious bread selection, fruit buffet, prosecco and much more.

You should not miss the warm dishes, whether omelet, pancakes, egg dishes, waffles and Co. your breakfast wishes will definitely not disappointed.

For me a rich breakfast – especially when traveling – is very important to have a relaxed and strengthened start into the day. The restaurant Sophia’s offers a wonderful ambience too.

Beautiful is then the in-house spa with pool. I spent the evenings there and let my soul dangle. The spa is open until 10pm – so you can find enough time to rest after an exciting day in the city.

Incidentally, The Charles Spa has the longest hotel indoor pool in Munich. The hotel also has a gym, a sauna and a steam room. The design of the spa also invites you to relax – as you might also see the perfect place to read.

This amazing view offered us then one of the suites – simply breathtakingly beautiful. Especially with the color play of the autumn foliage an absolute highlight. The Charles Hotel really is a little oasis in the middle of the city.

The stylish décor is reflected in the hotel’s general areas, restaurants, and rooms and suites. Modern chic with a lot of charm The Charles Hotel provides a cozy ambience in which I immediately felt at home.

I highly recommend The Charles Hotel – the generous and stylish rooms, the friendly staff, the delicious food and the great location – are reasons to check in again on my next trip to Munich.
