Review: Sally Hansen Color Therapy

Nail polish that maintains the nails? The new nail polish from Sally Hansen should be able to do just that. I was allowed to try them before launching.

Ingredients

 

Color Therapy combines a complex with natural argan, acai and night candle oil to maintain sensitive, dry nails. Argan oil contains not only a high degree of unsaturated fatty acids but also vitamin E, an essential antioxidant for healthy looking skin and nails.

 

The Acai berry oil is rich in omega-3-6-9 fatty acids, which are very appreciated for their nutrients in skin and hair care. Night candle oil, known from the hair care, strengthens with essential fatty acids.

The Color Therapy Nail & Cuticle Oil gives the nails and the nail skin comprehensive care and a healthy appearance.

TOPCOAT

 

The Color Therapy Top Coat provides a shiny finish and preserves the nails before fading. By compacting the nail varnish it helps to extend the hold.

Review

 

 

It’s unusual that there is no need of a undercoat, so we are first afraid of discoloration. I have to say however, that the varnish was good to remove and my nails did not discolor my nails. Among the varnishes there were no big differences. Currently I wear 150 Steely Serene.

 

At Sally Hansen I like the wide brush and the color intensity, this is also wonderful with the new Argan Oil paints. The lacquer can be applied easy and dries quite quickly for a conventional nail polish. I applied 2 layers of color and the topcoat, to split it started after 6 days with me, but I also baked cookies, cleaned etc. I am satisfied and will continue to use the paints. Without topcoat I have not tested them yet. The care oil is very rich and cultivates wonderfully.
