First, I recommend you to read the manual, also on the website of Babyliss or Youtube you could watch 2-3 videos to understand it better. Pay particular attention to handling. The Curl Secret offers various settings for heat regulation, curling and timing. It depends on the hair type, whether you should set 8 seconds or 12 seconds and also regarding the temperature. Basically I would say the thicker and more unruly your hair is the higher level is needed. It is best to try it out with your hair type. I personally have very fine and straight hair.

 

Before use, make sure to incorporate a heat protection spray into your hair. As soon as the luminaire is no longer flashing, it is ready for use. Now always take small strands, really not too big, separate and put into the device. Depending on where you want to have the curls more up or down. In my first attempt the procedure lasted about 15-20 min incl. preparation of the device.
