My wonderful stay at the Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood

Now I’m back home for two weeks after my wonderful road trip to the USA and yet it feels like it was yesterday. I also spent a great time at the Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood. Never before I have been in L.A. or Hollywood – it was the first and unforgettable visit – that I want to share with you today.

 

 

At our arrival I was immediately welcomed at the reception and could took my room keys. The room decor I really liked, it is modern and chic, but at the same time very comfortable. One thing I liked very much – was the bed – because it was incredibly comfortable. The beauty oasis or better known as bathroom was of course not missing too.

 

 

Wow – I thought to myself when I first saw the stylish bathroom and the huge shower. So far, I only knew similar showers from home renovation TV shows on HGTV. A beautiful design in which I felt very comfortable.

 

 

Before I tell you more details of my stay, I would like to give you some brief information about the Hollywood Hotel itself. The Hollywood Hotel has 130 rooms and they are available in a very reasonable price range for Hollywood. It is only 100m away from the subway station, so should you be traveling without a car – or just don’t want to notstuck in LA traffic – the best way to Down Town LA and Co. is super near. From the Hollywood Hotel you can also quickly reach the Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Park, LA Zoo, the Greek theater and the Mount Hollywood hiking trails. In addition, the Hollywood Hotel has its own comedy club, where weekly comedians perform.

 

 

After a restful night, the Hollywood Hotel offers a very rich breakfast – especially for american standards. In addition to a selection of bread and Co., ham & cheese, yogurt, fresh fruits & vegetables, the diligent cook cooks delicious & fresh omelets and waffles.

 

 

The Hollywood Hotel also has a beautiful fountain, it is so colorful and therefore a popular photo spot for all guests.

 

 

Caused by the amazing weather in L.A., of course, a pool area may not be missing. You can relax on the comfortable loungers and cool down in the pool itself.

 

 

As beautiful as the pool area, however, is the courtyard – its design reminds me of the beautiful riads in Morocco and is truly an oasis in the middle of the hotel.

 

 

Isn’t that magical? But if you thought the courtyard was the best in daylight, I have to disappoint you – because only in the evening does the decoration shows it’s full beauty. The perfect place to end the evening after a visit to the Griffith Observatory or shopping down town.

 

 

The attention to detail in this hotel really impressed me. As well as the beautiful newly renovated rooms and the great location in Hollywood. On my next visit to L.A., I’ll definitely book a room at the Hollywood Hotel again.
